Lagavulin Distillery

On the south end of Islay you’ll find 3 of the world’s most famous single Malt whiskies all within 2 miles of each, nestled in the middle is the legendry Lagavulin Distillery. Famed as the gateway for whisky into Scotland, Lagavulin bay as long been steeped in whisky history and is home to the classic lagavulin 16 year old single malt, one of Scotland’s most iconic malts.

Join the team at lagavulin and discover the secrets behind this smoky malt in our distillery tours, warehouse demonstrations and premium tastings. In the summer months the team are often offering up a variety of different tasting experience as well as distillery tours, none more famous than the Legend himself, Iain MacArthur’s warehouse demonstration.

Our range of lagavulin merchandise features everything you could possible want from miniature oak casks to jackets and scarves to prepare you for Islay’s more challenging weather. We stock the full range of Lagavulin, including the elusive 37 year old lagavulin and hard to find releases of Port Ellen Distillery single malt.

Distillery tours and tastings are available throughout the year but we do recommend pre-booking to avoid any disappointment.
